ST116 Coarse Fiber tester
The ST116 coarse fiber analyzer is an instrument that uses the
commonly used acid-base digestion method to digest samples and
measure their weight to obtain the coarse fiber content of the
sample.
Using accurately concentrated acids and bases, the sample is boiled
under specific conditions, and then soluble substances are removed
with ethanol. After high-temperature calcination, the amount of
minerals is deducted, and the content is called crude fiber. It is
not an exact chemical entity, but a rough composition measured
under recognized mandatory conditions, mainly composed of
cellulose, with small amounts of hemicellulose and lignin.
Suitable for determining the crude fiber content of various grains,
feed, etc., the test results comply with the provisions of national
standards GB/T5515 and GB/T6434.
